How to Measure Your Wall
Measure the full wall before choosing your wallpaper dimensions. A steel tape measure and a second person can make larger walls easier to measure accurately.
Measure width and height
- Measure the wall width at the top, middle and bottom. Record the widest measurement.
- Measure the height at the left, center and right. Record the tallest measurement.
- Check the unit shown on the product page before entering your dimensions. Do not mix inches and centimeters.
- Allow for trimming and uneven walls in accordance with the selected product’s instructions. Contact us before ordering if the required allowance is unclear.
Windows, doors and sloping ceilings
For a single rectangular wall, measure the full area rather than subtracting doors or windows. These openings are trimmed during installation. For slopes, stairwells or several adjoining walls, send us a sketch with measurements before ordering.
Review the composition
Check the product preview after entering your dimensions. Make sure important details are positioned where you want them, especially around furniture and openings. Review the full width, height, material and design before adding to your cart.
